Honda Prices their Hybrid for 2009
Honda unveils the prices for the new Honda Civic Hybrid.
A Honda exec told reporters at the International North American Auto Show in Detroit that the company plans to roll out a hybrid priced below the Civic hybrid which has a starting price of $22,600. Also, reports the Detroit Free Press, the company plans to add two new hybrid only vehicles and to upgrade an existing hybrid in the next three years.Honda also announced that it will be releasing the next generation Civic hybrid as well as a CR-Z sports car hybrid in 2011.
Wow. I can’t believe there’s actually going to be a Civic hybrid. Having grown up with the Civic as “the cool car” it’s hard to imagine the Civic “growing up” and becoming, dare I say, futuristic?
