Allstate Underinsuring Homeowners?
CBS News goes in on Allstate Insurance for underinsuring Californian homeowners after their homes burned up in the recent California fires.
In our humble opinion, CBS was a little too harsh on Allstate because it’s really not their fault. Shouldn’t it be up to the homeowners to know how much liability they were covered for? This really means homeowners under insured, not Allstate.
The only thing Allstate should do is train their agents and brokers to alert customers to the dangers of underinsuring. Remember to always read your policy documents!
