AIG Selling Auto Insurance in Massachusetts

Massachusetts Insurance

According to the Boston Globe, AIG will be entering the now de-regulated Massachusetts insurance market. AIG will be offering drivers from Massachusetts insurance products from their personal auto insurance line.

In addition to AIG making headways into Massachusetts, other insurance companies such as Vermont Mutual will begin selling their auto insurance products by the last quarter of 2008.

Currently, Progressive Insurance, Peerless Insurance and Liberty Mutual are some of the other insurance companies that have entered the Massachusetts market since the state de-regulated its insurance market thereby making their insurance pricing more competitive.
