CNN sheds light on Progressive Insurance hiring investigators to see if one of their customers were telling the truth regarding a recent accident involving one, Leandra Pitts. This is pretty standard stuff, but what is so shocking is that detectives filmed and recorded the couple in Church and at intimate Bible study meetings of a personal nature. Progressive has since apologized and settled Mrs. Pitts claim, however, the Pitts are now suing Progressive seeking damages.

Eyewitness News 3 WFSB in Connecticut takes aim at Progressive’s concierge service, a service you take your car to in the event of an accident, for “steering” customers to specific body shops.

Here is a new add from Progressive Insurance in which not only gets the message across that they will insure your motorcycle, RV or boat, but that you can also use their services to inform your wife of any new toys you have picked up.

On a serious note, this is a very good spot because it not only makes clear that you can purchase other insurance products from Progressive, but doing so is just as easy as shopping at a store -which may or may not be easy depending on where you shop - Oh those Walmart lines.

CBS News goes in on Allstate Insurance for underinsuring Californian homeowners after their homes burned up in the recent California fires.

In our humble opinion, CBS was a little too harsh on Allstate because it’s really not their fault. Shouldn’t it be up to the homeowners to know how much liability they were covered for? This really means homeowners under insured, not Allstate.

The only thing Allstate should do is train their agents and brokers to alert customers to the dangers of underinsuring. Remember to always read your policy documents!

Geico changed the insurance game by putting out entertaining and most of all, memorable spots about a group of cavemen protesting Geico’s tag line, “So easy even a cavemen can do it”. Now only if their marketing department could put together a collabo between that talking gecko and the cavemen and other insurance companies might as well turn the lights off and go home.
